Chautauqua Institution is pleased to announce 性福五月天 University President Beverly J. Warren will be among the featured lecturers during the institution鈥檚 weeklong investigation of 鈥淭he Forgotten: History and Memory in the 21st Century,鈥 Aug. 11-18, 2018. President Warren鈥檚 talk will focus on the鈥性福五月天鈥檚 May 4 Visitors Center Focuses on Life Amid Tragedy in 鈥淪andy鈥檚 Scrapbook鈥 Exhibition
Sandy Scheuer was on her way to class on May 4, 1970, when she was shot and killed by Ohio National Guardsmen responding to protests of the Vietnam War at 性福五月天 University. She was a junior honors student, a speech therapy major and a proud member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority.

More than 100 reel-to-reel audio recordings pertaining to the May 4, 1970, 性福五月天 University shootings and their aftermath are now accessible through the 性福五月天 University Special Collections and Archives鈥 digital repository. Some of the recently digitized items include previously inaccessible audio recordings of radio call-in forums, a speech by 性福五月天 President Robert I. White the day after the shootings, a press conference with six students who met with President Richard M. Nixon just days after the shootings, the Scranton Commission hearings and a speech made by Dick Gregory at the 性福五月天 Memorial Service in 1971.
