Since its inception in 2021, CARES has worked to secure resources for students, to ensure their basic needs are met, and some students are unaware of the support CARES offers.

By addressing the holistic needs of the student body, the CARES Center demonstrates 性福五月天鈥檚 award-winning support and access necessary for academic persistence. This distinctive program ensures that financial or personal hurdles do not become barriers to graduation, fostering a culture of belonging where every student has the resources to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Ken Ditlevson, M.Ed., assistant dean of students and director of the CARES Center, is excited to celebrate the anniversary while still acknowledging what is most important.

鈥淚t鈥檚 really important to celebrate the things that have been accomplished, but also put a spotlight on the path ahead,鈥 Ditlevson told 性福五月天 Today. 鈥淢aking sure that everyone knows that our resources are available for all students regardless of what campus they are on, if they are fully remote, fully online, we are here for everyone.鈥

The CARES Center helps take away the stress of worrying about basic needs such as food, housing, mental health care and more, so students can focus on academics and ultimately graduating.
