Get involved with the CARES Center through C-CAT!

C-CAT is the CARES Center Action Team, which includes faculty, staff and student volunteers from across the university system; all are welcome. Monthly meetings are held virtually via Teams; Spring semester meeting dates are on Fridays (Feb. 27, March 27, and April 27 from 12:15 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.). C-CAT members select from one of the four subcommittees/workgroups, which include: volunteer recruitment, business and donor connections, developing social media campaigns, and creating resources for fully online students.

Call for design proposals: KENT sign

Main Street Kent is seeking new design proposals for the KENT sign, a public art piece located on N. Water St. in downtown Kent, just before the Fairchild bridge. The original goal of the public art project was to create a unique structure that receives a 鈥渘ew look鈥 every year or two, to showcase a variety of artists鈥 work over time. Main Street Kent is seeking submissions for artwork to fill the inside of each letter. The chosen artist will be compensated $1,000 and their artwork will be installed in Spring of 2026. Submit proposals here by Feb. 28.

Small Business Showcase

Join us for LaunchNET's end of semester showcase on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 4-6 p.m. This will be a tabling event featuring 性福五月天 entrepreneurs and the businesses they have been working on. Stop by the 2nd Floor Lobby in the DI Hub to support these small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. Featuring free mocktails from Rolling Refreshments.

Dr. Kathy Siesel Dr. Siesel started her journey with KSUCPM as a 1989 graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (OCPM). Subsequent residency and fellowship programs with OCPM and the Cleveland Foot & Ankle Clinic (CFAC) lead her to the start of her career as a part-time clinical faculty member in 1991.
