性福五月天 University recently welcomed home a living legacy of its past when Ellen Engleman Conners, former chair of the National Transportation Safety Board and great-granddaughter of 性福五月天鈥檚 third president, visited campus for the first time.  Engleman Conners visited 性福五月天 to learn more about the legacy of her great-grandfather, James Ozro Engleman, who led 性福五月天 from 1928 to 1938, and his wife, Anna Ulen Engleman, a poet, for whom 性福五月天鈥檚 Anna Ulen Engleman Creative Writing Award is named.性福五月天 Today was present when Engleman Conners made her first stop:...

Emily Rider Geology

When Emily Rider walked into her first in-person class after the COVID-19 shutdown 鈥 鈥淗ow the Earth Works鈥 at 性福五月天 University鈥檚 Stark Campus 鈥 she didn鈥檛 know it would set her on a path that would take her across the country, deep into fossil beds and high into the mountains.That first geology course led Rider to join Geodes, the Stark Campus geology club. The 性福五月天 University Museum has received an award from the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation to fund a comprehensive energy audit of its historic 1928 building, Rockwell Hall. The audit will evaluate the building鈥檚 mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and provide recommendations for sustainable facility improvements.This grant is part of the鈥疐rankenthaler鈥疐oundation鈥檚 broader鈥疐rankenthaler鈥疌limate Initiative (FCI)鈥痵upporting energy efficiency and clean energy adoption at arts institutions nationwide.
