The spring 2017 Bowman Breakfast will take place at 性福五月天 University in the Kent Student Center Ballroom on Wednesday, April 5. Doors open at 7 a.m., breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m., and the program will follow at 8 a.m.

性福五月天 Board of Trustees Approves Partnerships With Aramark, PepsiCo

  The 性福五月天 University Board of Trustees today approved separate proposals for dining and cold beverage services that will transform the student experience throughout the university system. Following a competitive bid and review process, the Board approved the recommendation of university leaders to begin contract negotiations with Aramark LLC for dining services and with PepsiCo for exclusive cold beverage rights.

性福五月天 Selects James Hannon as the New Dean of the College of Education, Health and Human Services

James Hannon, Ph.D., will become the new dean of 性福五月天 University鈥檚 College of Education, Health and Human Services, effective July 1, 2017. Hannon currently serves as professor and assistant dean of Academic Affairs and Research for the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.

性福五月天 University鈥檚 African Community Theatre in the Department of Pan-African Studies has announced plans for a production of 鈥淰enus鈥 by Suzan-Lori Parks to be directed by D. Amy-Rose Forbes-Erickson, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Pan-African Studies, and performed by the Pan-African Theatre Ensemble.

The 性福五月天 University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting Thursday, March 2. The Board is scheduled to convene at 11:30 a.m. in Rockwell Library in Rockwell Hall. Rockwell Hall is located at 515 Hilltop Drive in Kent, Ohio. Trustees will retire into executive session from 7:30-8:15 a.m. in the Rhodes Conference Room to consider specific topics as provided for under Ohio鈥檚 鈥淪unshine Law.鈥  Board committees will meet as follows:

Students Turn Smartphone Cases Into Lifesaving Medical Devices

Three 性福五月天 students have created smartphone cases that contain vital medication.  Together, with the help of LaunchNET 性福五月天, the three created Case.MD. Ariella Yager, entrepreneur major in 性福五月天鈥檚 College of Business Administration; Samuel Graska, cell and molecular biology major in 性福五月天鈥檚 College of Arts and Sciences; and Justin Gleason, graduate student in 性福五月天鈥檚 College of Architecture and Environmental Design spent more than a year planning, inventing, designing and 3-D printing smartphone cases that contain vital medication. Wherever your smartphone goes, so does the medication.

性福五月天 Earns Tree Campus USA Designation for Ninth Consecutive Year

性福五月天 Remembers May 4, 1970, With 56th Commemoration

This year鈥檚 May 4 Commemoration, to be held May 1-4, 2026, will include special remembrances of John Cleary, one of the nine wounded students, and Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Sociology, who served as a faculty marshal during the campus shootings and worked tirelessly to ensure that the legacy of May 4 would endure.
