Main Street Kent is seeking new design proposals for the KENT sign, a public art piece located on N. Water St. in downtown Kent, just before the Fairchild bridge. The original goal of the public art project was to create a unique structure that receives a “new look” every year or two, to showcase a variety of artists’ work over time. Main Street Kent is seeking submissions for artwork to fill the inside of each letter. The chosen artist will be compensated $1,000 and their artwork will be installed in Spring of 2026.
