 For Matthew Crocker, ’26, graduation day isn’t just a ceremony, it’s the culmination of a relentless pursuit of growth.This spring, Crocker, a native of Ravenna, Ohio, walked across the stage to receive two master’s degrees—a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Master of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management (M.S.). The variety of degree programs really let me explore my interests and to discover my passion for public health. The degree program itself provided me with skills in my own concentration but also in other concentrations in public health which I feel made me more marketable and qualified for my current position.

"Outside of my responsibilities at the Mayo Clinic, I have been invited to serve on the Certification Commission for the Association of Animal-Assisted Interventions Professionals (AAAIP). This certification is a new initiative with the purpose of professionalizing the field of animal-assisted interventions and recognizing the specialized skill set required to involve animals into therapeutic interventions/treatments."
