In the latest episode of the ToddCast, 性福五月天 University President Todd Diacon welcomes Jane Chu, former chair of the National Endowment for the Arts, for a thoughtful conversation about arts entrepreneurship, the hard work and discipline inherent within the arts, and the different ways that it can manifest in a wide range of careers.

Chu shares her personal journey from artist to arts administrator, highlighting the importance of ensuring that all communities 鈥 urban and rural 鈥 have opportunities to experience and participate in the arts. Throughout the discussion, Chu and Diacon reflect on how creativity fuels innovation, strengthens shared identity and can serve as a bridge during divided times. Chu visited 性福五月天 on Sept. 9-10, as part of the Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series. During her campus visit, Chu led two free public presentations, 鈥淎rtists as Leaders鈥 and 鈥淎rtists as Entrepreneurs.鈥 Chu鈥檚 visit also included interactive sessions for students and faculty on exploring funding and leadership opportunities in the arts.
