KSU Rwanda
A new chapter in a long-standing partnership.
ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University Rwanda will represent the formal expansion of ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University’s presence in Rwanda through an academic and collaborative hub in Kigali.
Designed to serve students from across the region, it will support education, workforce development and innovation aligned with Africa’s growing creative and knowledge economies.
Why Now
Africa's creative economy is valued at over $58 billion and employs millions across the continent — yet it operates far below its potential.
Skills gaps, fragmented value chains, dependence on imported textiles, and limited pathways into creative industries mean that an enormous opportunity remains largely unrealized.
Rwanda is uniquely positioned to change that. With Vision 2050, the National Strategy for Transformation (NST2), and Rwanda's Creative Economy Policy each identifying fashion and creative industries as strategic priorities, the national conditions for this initiative are aligned in a way that rarely happens.
Fashion is also not an isolated industry. A strong fashion ecosystem drives growth across film, music, media, and digital content — making investment in fashion education a multiplier across the broader creative economy, not just one sector.
With 60% of Africa's population under 25, the demand for education that connects to real industry and real employment has never been greater. ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University Rwanda is designed to meet that moment — anchored in Kigali, built for the continent.
