Three new college and career academies at Akronβs Firestone Community Learning Center will bear the name of ΠΤΈ£ΞεΤΒΜμ University, as part of a new partnership announced Feb. 21 between the university and Akron Public Schools.

Sandy Scheuer was on her way to class on May 4, 1970, when she was shot and killed by Ohio National Guardsmen responding to protests of the Vietnam War at ΠΤΈ£ΞεΤΒΜμ University.
