Benefits Freshservice is Open Now
Dear Colleagues,
As of today, the Employee Benefits Office is officially using to manage all benefits inquiries, and we could not be more excited to bring this level of service to our campus community.
The fastest and most convenient way to reach us is now through the , where you can submit a request and track its progress from start to finish. You can also still email benefits@kent.edu or call 330-672-3107 and your inquiry will automatically be turned into a ticket. However you choose to reach us, you will receive a confirmation right away and a follow-up from our team as we work towards resolution.

As with any process change, we want to keep you in the loop. Here is an overview of the new Freshservice process:
- The quickest and easiest way to reach us is through the Freshservice portal, where you can submit your request directly and check on its status at any time.
- If you prefer email, just send a message to benefits@kent.edu as you always have. Your email will automatically create a ticket in our system.
- If you prefer to call, you are still welcome to reach out at 330-672-3107 and a ticket will be created automatically as well.
- No matter how you reach out, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know we have your request and are working on it.
Please note that Tuition Waiver and FMLA/Medical Leave requests will continue to follow their existing processes for the time being and are not impacted by this change.
