The School of Art's newly completed Center for the Visual Arts celebrated its grand opening on May 6. A large crowd filled the building lobby for the opening ceremony, which was followed by tours, live music, student exhibitions and a keynote lecture by visiting artist Mel Chin. Walk Like A Woods Woman

New York-based artist Saya Woolfalk visited �Ը�� University October 14-17 as part of the College of the Arts' Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series. Woolfalk's work blends science fiction, anthropology and biology to explore how we see ourselves and the world around us. Her four-day residency at �Ը�� brought together students and faculty from the College of the Arts, College of Sciences and Humanities and the College of Architecture and Environmental Design for a workshop, roundtable discussion, graduate studio visits and a free public lecture.

�Ը�� University’s Animation Game Design program continues to expand its presence at the Cleveland Gaming Classic, giving students, faculty and alumni opportunities to present work, engage with players and build professional experience. The event also highlights independent projects, industry recognition and scholarship support for current students.
